New Delhi: As the national capital confronts the rising air pollution with Odd-Even vehicle rationing scheme, the Helpchat mobile application has launched a new feature to track the air quality in the atmosphere.
This app will help the people protect themselves from pollution. It also monitors the air in the surrounding environment and delivers a personalised air-quality update.
The company confirmed that it has started pollution alert in over 40 Indian cities.
“We have got basic data from the Central Pollution Control Board of AQI in these cities. But we do not have adequate data sometimes for many areas in each of the cities. We have to depend on certain websites that forecast pollution levels. Then we have a core algorithm wherein we fix these data and calculate the pollution levels of most areas in each city. Mostly the result is close to the CPCB data.” Kalicharan Shukla, VP (Marketing), Helpchat, said in a statement.
Helpchat app also tracks the weather conditions and updates the users in real time since pollution and its impact are directly linked with the weather conditions. (ANI)
