Help TRS bag 16 LS seats to take on Centre: KTR

Hyderabad: TRS working president KT Rama Rao today said TRS supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has guts to take on the Centre and dictate terms if the people bless the ruling party win 16 MP seats.

Addressing a road show at Nalgonda, KT Rama Rao criticized the two national parties — the BJP and the Congress — of duping people, who will reject them now in the polls. “KCR will lead a federal front of regional parties, which will have their say. It is time for the people to defeat these two parties and help TRS replace the BJP-led NDA regime in the centre, he asserted.

According to media reports and surveys, the BJP and the Congress will face drubbing in the polls, KTR said, adding that while the BJP was expected to get some 150 MP seats, the Congress may end up with 100 seats. Thus, together these two national parties cannot form government, he predicted. The regional parties are enjoying public support and will come to power. He said voting to Rahul Gandhi will go to the Congress and the votes to Modi will go to the BJP. Similarly the votes polled to TRS will go to KCR and for Telangana development and welfare. Vote for the ruling TRS party will get more funds from the Centre and achieve our rights, he exhorted. KTR exuded confidence that the electorate will vote for the TRS to win 16 MPs.

“Several States were following our schemes, which are ideal at national level”, he said, adding that Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal and Jharkand are implementing our Rythu Bandhu scheme with a few changes.
