Telangana Tourism Department is conducting a “Helicopter Joy Ride” to make a whirl-wind tour of the twin cities for six days.
The unique program is being conducted as part of second International Kite Festival from January 12 to 17. The people of the twin cities can now enjoy the glimpse of landmark tourist spots, historic monuments, citadels, places and that of important places of destination in the city from over 1500 feet with a ten-minute joy ride. The people can avail this facility to gift it to their loved ones to remember for life time. The ride will begin at Necklace Road and get back after having an aerial view or bird’s eye of places like Tank Bund, Buddha Statue, Lumbini Park, NTR Gardens, Birla Mandir, IMAX, Sanjeevaiah Park, Snow World and others.
The joy ride is meant for promoting the kite festival being participated by 70 international and 40 national kite flyers. Messrs Thumbay Aviation Private Limited is organizing the joy ride from Necklace road. Bookings can be made on Mobile number 94477 77110, a release said.
