Wellington, February 28: A helicopter crashed on a beach north of New Zealand’s North Island town of Levin on Monday.
The chopper came down on Hokio Beach, 10km north west of Levin, Police Central Communications Inspector Ian Harris said.
The number of people on board and their conditions were still unknown, he said.
