Uncertainty prevails over the conduct of second one-day international (ODI) match between India and the West Indies at ACA-VDCA Stadium here on November 24.
Although the cyclonic storm “Helen” is likely to cross the south Andhra coast on Friday, the Met Department has predicted heavy to heavy rainfall in several coastal areas. The Visakhapatnam and other north coastal district have been receiving heavy rainfall since Thursday night. The ACA-VDCA have facilities to drain out water, but it will be difficult to conduct the match if it continues to rain on November 24.
Both the teams will arrive in Visakhapatnam on Saturday and will participate in practice sessions. The cricket fans are praying for clear skies on Sunday to watch the crucial match. India already leads the ODI series with 1-0 against West Indies. (INN)
