Hyderabad, April 9: The city dwellers are likely to get a relief after the hot weather continued for the past few days, as the Metrological Department has forecasted heavy rain during the next 24 hours.
Forecasting rain during the next 24 hours in the state capital Hyderabad, the top officials of Metrological Department said likelihood of heavy rain on Saturday morning could not be rejected, as the running week witnessed unexpected change in the weather from Wednesday and the intensity of heat dropped down to nearly 2 degrees.
Relating the detailed forecast of Andhra Pradesh state and other cities Metrological department sources said that the weather will be dry in most of the areas of Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Lakshadeep.
In Hyderabad a light, heavy and very heavy rainfall is forecasted on Saturday. Meanwhile a maximum of 34 degree Celsius and a minimum of 24 degree Celsius temperatures have been recorded.
