New Delhi :Heavy rainfall lashed Delhi and adjoining Noida in Uttar Pradesh on Friday, leading to waterlogging on the roads and triggering traffic jams.
The minimum temperature settled slightly below the season’s average at 26.2 degrees Celsius.
The Met Office has forecast thunderstorms and rain during the day.
“The sky will be generally cloudy. Thunderstorm with light to moderate rain would occur in some areas,” an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
The day’s maximum temperature is likely to hover around 32 degrees Celsius.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 89 percent.
Thursday’s maximum temperature settled one notch below the season’s average at 34 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled two notches below the season’s average at 25.2 degrees Celsius
