Interspersed with small pauses, rains continued to lash the city for the second day on Thursday disrupting the normal daily routine for many.
Most parts of the city were hit by the showers and rain was reported to be heavy in some areas such as Himayatnagar, Gachibowli, Punjagutta, Lakdi-ka-pul, Habsiguda, Vidyanagar, Tarnaka, Uppal, Nagole, Moula Ali, Neredmet, Dr. A. S. Rao Nagar, Kushaiguda, Musheerabad and RTC cross-roads.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) kept receiving complaint calls from across the city and the fleet of emergency teams remained busy attending to the calls.
