(Siasat News)Normal life in the state was disrupted due to heavy rainfall during the past two days.
Four persons were swept away in the rainwater in Warangal district. Rail track was damaged in many areas of Warangal and Khammam. South Central Railway cancelled 9 trains. It also diverted the routs of many trains. All the 20 doors of Tungabhadra Dam have been opened.
Many persons have been shifted to safe places. Eleven thousand acres of crops have been damaged.
Chief Minister has issued instructions to all the district collectors to take appropriate steps to help people affected by rainfall.
Food grains stored in open places have been damaged. Trains in Kurnool and Mahboobnagar have been cancelled. South Central Railway is returning the amounts of railway tickets of certain routes.
More rainfall is expected in the next 48 hours in the State.
