Heatwave conditions prevail in AP dists

Heatwave conditions prevailed in the districts of Guntur, Krishna, of Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Adilabad, Warangal, Karimnagar, Khammam, Nalgonda and Nizamabad of Telangana during the last 24 hours. The highest maximum temperature of 47 degrees celsius was recorded in Khammam. A bulletin from Meteorological Centre here today said Heat wave conditions would continue to prevail in the districts of Guntur, Krishna and Prakasham of Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Adilabad, Warangal, Khammam, Nalgonda, Nizamabad and Karimnagar of Telangana during the next two days.

The bulletin said the maximum temperatures were appreciably rose at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, rose at a few places over Rayalaseema and at one or two places over Telangana. They were appreciably above normal at one or two places over the remaining districts Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and above normal at a few places over Rayalaseema.

Forecast and Farmers’ weather bulletin valid until the morning of June 02, 2012 indicated isolated rain or thundershowers would occur over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and mainly dry weather would prevail over Telangana and Rayalaseema.

Outlook for subsequent two days said there will be no large change. Forecast for Hyderabad City and Neighbourhood valid until the morning of June 02, 2012 stated sky condition would be generally Cloudy. Thundery development would occur. The Maximum and Minimum temperatures would be around 42 and 30 degrees Celsius respectively, the bulletin said. UNI
