Heartbroken leaders miffed with local party

There has been an increase in the number of miffed leaders and workers, as the poll is nearing. Shah Ali Banda corporator Mohammed Ghouse tops the list of angry leaders of the local party. A businessman of Lad bazaar on the condition of anonymity told that Mohammed Ghouse has done a lot for the party but the leadership despite of promising him didn’t give the party ticket, on which Mohammed Ghouse felt very offended. He had even announced resignation but on the intervention of respected personalities of Charminar constituency he withdrew his decision.

Rain Bazar corporator Khaja Bilal has lost all his hopes when the party leadership ignored him while giving ticket, he had hoped that he would get Yaqutpura assembly ticket this time.

A political novice has been given Karwan ticket while Kausar Muhiuddin has no reputation. Instead Matharo Pasha whose real name is Ghulam Muhiuddin Khan had hoped that he would get party ticket in place of Afsar Khan.

Zaker Baqari corporator Muradnagar was also another contender of Muradnagar seat he had even started imagining himself an MLA for quite a few days but the party leadership disappointed him by fielding Kausar Muhiuddin from Muradnagar.

Many leaders are angry with the local party over Nampally assembly seat also. Yaser Arafat was longing for the Nampally ticket. Former Nampally MLA Virasat Rasool Khan is also miffed with the party. Party sources said that Virasat Rasool Khan himself has weakened the party position in Nampally. Had his performance better there would be no need to struggle.

Mayor Majid Husain is also seen among the angry leaders; he had hoped that he would be nominated from Secunderabad parliamentary constituency.
