Hyderabad: The hearing of case regarding Dargah Hazraat Yousufain Nampally could not be conducted in High Court and Waqf Tribunal. The hearing was scheduled on Tuesday in Waqf Tribunal however the judge fixed the next hearing on August 9 as the actual case is pending with the High Court.
Last month the High Court had issued stay orders on the suspension of former mutavalli Faisal Ali Shah, who was sacked by the Waqf Board in 2014. Waqf Board challenged the High Court order whose hearing could not be held on Tuesday. Hearing is likely to be held within next two days.
On the other hand, the temporary mutavalli Shabbir Mohammed Al-Husaini has challenged the High Court order to annul his extended term. Term of temporary mutavalli ended on July 28 and Waqf Board has taken direct control of the Dargah. Thus 3 parties are claimants in Dargah Hazraat Yousufain case and the cases are pending with High Court and Tribunal.
