The High Court has adjourned the hearing on 12 TRS MLAs’ appeal challenging the verdict of single bench judge on two Congress MLAs’ expulsion, to Friday.
It may be mentioned here that the High Court in its judgment, set aside the order of the Assembly Speaker expelling two Congress MLAs for creating pandemonium in the Assembly. But the High Court set aside the Speaker’s decision to expel two Congress MLAs for their unruly acts in the House.
However, the TRS MLAs appealed to the Court challenging the single bench judgment. Supreme Court senior advocate Vaidhyanathan, on behalf of the MLAs, urged the Court to take up the case for hearing. He urged the Court to dismiss the single bench judgment on expulsion of two MLAs. (NSS)
