Vizianagaram, March 28: Venkata Padma Healthcare has tied up with Vaatsalya Hospitals, Bangalore, to extend quality healthcare to women and children in addition to paediatric surgeries, its Medical Director M. Venkateswara Rao has said. Addressing a press conference on Sunday, Dr. Venkateswara Rao said that Venkata Padma Healthcare would hereafter be called Vaatsalya Hospitals, which is the first corporate multi-specialty hospital for women and children in this region.
Accordingly, it had been renovated to offer corporate facilities at affordable prices to rural and semi-urban patients, who constitute 80 per cent of the population. It would be dedicated to people of the Fort town formally on the evening of Ugadi, Telugu New Year day. He said that with the tie-up, it was the third Vaatsalya Hospitals after Narasannapeta and Ongole in the State. Vaatsalya was launched by Ashwin Naik and Veerendra Hiremath in 2004 in Karnataka with a mission to create a network of hospitals providing high-quality medical services.
