Dubai, December 05: The Ministry of Health has circulated an informational e-magazine on H1N1 to over 10,000 employees in 12 government organisations.
The journal highlights the main features of the disease, how it spreads and the appropriate methods that need to be taken to prevent it from spreading.
The weekly magazine also provides readers with important tips that will help in general prevention. It also educates infected people and their families about the cure and prevention of transmission.
The publication is sent to staff through e-mail and is part of the ministry’s awareness-raising campaign among the community.
Officials from the ministry said that the idea of the magazine was generated after a study was done to check popularity of electronic communication and access to large segments of society that could easily connect with its content.
The articles published in the magazine are reviewed by medical specialists in the ministry.
