Corporate hospitals stopping Arogyasri services to white card holders in Telangana was broached by Health Minister Laxma Reddy on Monday. The minister said the government would discuss the issue with the corporate hospitals.
Speaking to reporters, he said there were certain difficulties in the Arogyasri agreement with the corporate hospitals. The hospitals demands were being looked into.
The main demand of the corporate hospitals was pertaining of pending bills, which mounted to over Rs 300 crore. He said the pending bills issue would also be discussed with the hospital managements. The government would take a decision after discussing the matter with the corporate hospital managements. (INN)
