Bhopal, February 22: Madhya Pradesh Government has again suspended the controversial former health director Yogiraj Sharma following criticism from opposition in the wake of Income Tax raids against him.
Sharma’s house was raided by the IT Department last year following which he was suspended and was later forced to retire compulsorily, official sources said.
However, Sharma challenged the order of his compulsory retirement from the government service in High Court following which the court stayed the government ruling.
Later, he rejoined the service in the health department on the basis of court order.
However, yesterday government issued his fresh suspension order on the ground that departmental inquiry initiated against him following IT raids is still going on.
