Haj pilgrims selected through ‘qurrah’ have to pay Rs.51,000 towards first instalment, by June 11,. This was stated by the Chief Executive Officer, Haj Committee of India, Mr Shakir Husain.
Speaking to the media here, he said that the final instalment amount to be paid by the Hajis would be decided in due course.
He said that for the first time, the Haj Committee was introducing health card for the benefit of the pilgrims. The card would contain the medical history of the pilgrim and it would come handy in case of any emergency in Saudi Arabia. (NSS)
