Andhra Pradesh, Jun 28 : A clash between teacher and headmaster of the same school led to murder of the former in Prem Nagar area of Warangal town today.
According to police, the victim L Venkat Reddy (43) and the accused headmaster Sammireddy had liquor last night till this morning in a shop.
After drinks, Sammireddy suddenly left for his house leaving the teacher in the shop.
Enraged over the behaviour of the headmaster, the teacher went to his house, quarrelled with him and beat him with an iron rod.
In retaliation, the headmaster overpowered him and allegedly hit the teacher with the same iron rod killing him on the spot.
The police arrested the headmaster and sent the body of the victim for post-mortem.
Both the teachers were working in a government school in Warangal, police said.
