Mumbai, June 15: Indian mortgage lender Housing Development Finance Corp has paid 2.15 billion rupees ($46.1 million) for the June-quarter, up from 1.75 billion rupees a year ago, an income tax department source said on Tuesday.
Hindustan Unilever paid 750 million rupees as advance tax, unchanged from a year earlier, the source, who did not wish to be named, told Reuters.
