Hyderabad: Admissions are in progress in University of Hyderabad (UoH) for the academic year 2018-19. The last date to apply is May 5. The university will offer four new courses, namely Integrated MSc/PhD in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, PhD in Nano Science and Technology, MA Education and PhD Education from the academic year 2018-19, while PhD in Translation Studies and PG Diploma in Sanskrit Computational Linguistics are being re-introduced. However, four MPhil and eight PhD programmes, Integrated MSc in Earth Science and Integrated MA Urdu courses will not be available for admissions in the academic year 2018-19.
The entrance test will be held at 38 test centres across the country from June 1 to 5.
Urdu Department of Hyderabad Central University has a unique position in the entire country for its research services. HCU Hyderabad is the only university where students of MA Urdu will get an annual scholarship of Rs. 50000. MPhil students get a scholarship of Rs 5000 and PhD scholars get a scholarship of Rs 8000.
