The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Friday stayed the AP Administrative Tribunal’s order allowing the candidates with D Ed qualification to write the exam for the School Assistants posts of DSC-2012.
Disposing a petition filed by the State Government challenging the AP Administrative Tribunal’s orders, the bench headed by Justice Eswaraiah and Justice Ravi Shankar gave green signal for the government to go ahead with the DSC examination scheduled from August 26-28. However, the bench while directing the government to go ahead with the DSC observed that results would be subject to final orders issued by the court and adjourned the case for next hearing for two weeks.
Earlier, the counsel of government observed that so far the DSC examination has been postponed twice and the students would face a lot of difficulty if it was deferred once again. The court conceded with the arguments of government and stayed AP Administrative Tribunal orders.
