Hyderabad High Court has directed Chief Executive Officer of Waqf Board to take measures to restore Maulana Syed Shah Akber Nizamuddin Husaini Saberi as mutavalli Dargah Hazrat Shah Khamoosh.
The court directed this on the basis of investigating officer’s report regarding the charges against him. Justice Ram Lingeshwar Rao had directed Waqf Board to act within a week however the Board did not acted upon the order even after 12 days, on which Maulana Akber Nizamuddin issued contempt of court notice.
It must be noted that Waqf Board had suspended the Mutavalli of Dargah Shah Khamoosh Syed Akbar Nizamuddin Husaini from the post on 10 different charges. Investigative Officer submitted the report on January 23, 2015 declaring the charges as baseless.
