High court has refused to grant a stay order on the proceedings of Waqf Board regarding suspension of mutavallis of 3 main dargahs of the state. It must be recalled that Waqf Board had announced suspension of mutavalis of 3 dargahs and probe against them, who were found involved in violation of Waqf Act.
It is said that the mutavallis of the 3 dargahs approached the court to get stay order however the bench comprising of Justice Vilas Afzalpurkar directed the mutavalli of Dargah Hazrat Yousufain to reply to the show-cause notice issued by the Waqf Board, however the court refused to provide any relief to the mutavalli.
Similarly the hearing of the petition filed by mutavalli of Dargah Hazrat Baba Fakhruddin Penukonda and Dargah Hazrat Mohammed Mohammedullah Husaini Chisthi (Ameen Peer) Kadapa is scheduled on next Tuesday. It must be noted that mutavallis of Dargah Hazrat Ameen Peer Kadapa, Dargah Hazrat Yousufain and Dargah Baba Fakhruddin have been suspended on the charges of various irregularities.
