HC raps petitioner for charges against judges

Hyderabad, January 20: A division bench of the AP High Court comprising Justice VVS Rao and Justice Ramesh Ranganathan on Wednesday came down heavily on a petitioner T Deendayal and imposed costs of Rs 25,000 on him.

Deendayal, as a GPA holder of one Hari Babu of Kadapa, questioned in a writ petition a decree and judgement passed by a civil court in Kadapa.

A single judge had dismissed the writ petition as not maintainable. While dismissing the writ appeal today, the bench made it clear that no court in the state shall entertain any petition filed by him in his capacity as a GPA holder. The bench further barred his entry into the court besides directing civil and criminal action against him for making baseless allegations against judges.

Deendayal is said to have also opposed the posting of the case before the bench attributing bias to one of the judges. The bench took cognizance of earlier orders that Deendayal cannot file such applications. The bench made observations about this kind of practice and stressed the need to put an end to it.
