Mumbai, January 11: The Bombay High Court today quashed a complaint against cell phone major Vodafone.
A woman, a Vodafone subscriber, had filed a complaint with suburban Goregaon police that she had received “an obscene” caller-tune without her wanting it, following which the cell phone major moved the High Court seeking to quash the complaint.
“The court set aside the complaint after the company assured that it would take care that such incident don’t get repeated in future,” additional public prosecutor Alpa Jhaveri said.
