The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Wednesday quashed the petition of Central Bureau of Investigation seeking cancellation of bail granted to Jagati Publications vice chairman V Vijay Sai Reddy by CBI Second Additional Special Court on Monday.
The court rejected the lunch motion petition of CBI seeking cancellation of bail to Vijay Sai Reddy stating that it would affect the progress of case and he could tamper with the evidence, if released on bail.
Earlier, CBI Second Additional Special Court Justice Naga Maruthi Sharma granted conditional bail to Vijay Sai Reddy in the disproportionate assets case of Kadapa MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
