New Delhi, March 15: The Delhi High Court has ordered registration of a criminal case against an elderly man for representing a Germany-based Indian woman in the court allegedly on the basis of a forged power of attorney.
The court of Justice Ajit Bharihoke has been hearing a joint plea by the woman and her USA-based former husband for scrapping of a dowry harassment case against the latter.
The plea was filed after the couple parted ways amicably after a bout of matrimonial disputes. The court ordered registration of the criminal case against the elderly man after finding his power of attorney to be forged.
