HC order historic, says petitioners’ advocate

Hyderabad: Senior High Court Advocate Jandhyala Ravi Shankar on Friday said the apex court of the State had issued bailable warrants against the Legislature secretary and Law secretary of the State for committing contempt of court for not implementing its earlier orders issued for restoration of membership of former MLAs Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and SA Sampath Kumar.

The Advocate said the High Court had asked the Hyderabad Police Commissioner to produce both the officials of the State government before it. He termed the verdict of the court as historic in the entire country. He said bailable warrant carries Rs.10,000 bond .
