Patna: The Patna High Court on Tuesday issued notices to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and six former Chief Ministers asking them to reply within four weeks as to why former Chief Ministers cannot live in private accommodations in the city when they are being provided adequate security.
The court also questioned as to how they have come in possession of government bungalows for entire lifetime.
The decision came after a PIL was filed by Kumar and other leaders of the state over the matter of allocation of bungalows to former Chief Ministers.
The next hearing in the matter is scheduled for February 11.
