Mumbai, August 30: The Bombay High Court on Monday will hear the state-filed confirmation plea of the death penalty handed out to Pakistani terrorist Mohammed Ajmal Aamir Kasab in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack case.
The court will also hear Kasab’s appeal against the conviction, which will be filed by his advocates Amin Solkar and Farhana Shah.
Earlier, the court had admitted the state government’s appeal against the acquittal of co-accused Faheem Ansari and Sabauddin Ahmed.
Admitting the appeal against the acquittal of Ansari and Ahmed, the court initiated action to secure their presence.
The duo is at present lodged in a UP prison and will be produced before the trial court on Monday. They will either be released on bail bonds or taken into custody.
