The Hyderabad High Court here on Monday passed a stay order against possible arrest of three ABVP students in connection with the recent suicide by Hyderabad Central University research scholar Rohith Vemula. The court also directed the trio – Susheel Kumar, Diwakar and Krishna Chaitanya – to cooperate with the investigating officers.
The High Court also directed the Telangana State government to filed a counter and adjourned the case to three weeks. It may be mentioned here that HCU student Rohith Vemula had committed suicide in one of the hostels of the University of Hyderabad on January 18. (NSS)
