The Andhra Pradesh High Court has directed the CBI to take up investigation of the management seats of the Apollo Medical College.
A petition alleging that there were irregularities in the filling of management quota seats of the college was filed in the High Court. The petitioner stated that the college management had given wrong information regarding the admissions to the government and sold the seats for higher rates.
Responding to the petition, the court directed the CBI to investigate and seize all records concerning filling of seats. (NSS)
