Andhra Pradesh High Court Chief Justice Madan Bhimrao Lokur today advocated the need for speedy trial andjudgment in the corruption-related cases in the state. Speaking after inaugurating three additional courts of CBI in Gagan Vihar at Nampally, the Chief Justice said the speedy trial of corruption cases would prove crucial in eradicating the menace of corruption. He hoped that the investigation agency, the accused, and society in general, would benefit from the special courts. The Chief Justice also announced that a Special CBI Court would be set up in Visakhapatnam soon. The judges for the new CBI courts would be Justice Pattabhi Rama Rao, Justice Naga Muruti Sharma and Justice M V Ramana Rao. Several judges of the state High Court, officials of the judiciary department, and CBI Andhra Pradesh Unit DIG V V Lakshminarayana, were present on the occasion. UNI
