Mumbai, December 22: A division bench of Bombay High Court today stayed an order by its single judge restraining singer Adnan Sami’s estranged wife from entering his flats in suburb here.
Adnan and his estranged wife Saba Galdari jointly own flats on 12th, 13th and 14th floor of Oberoi Sky Garden, Lokhandawala Complex in Andheri.
A Family Court, before which a divorce petition as well as Saba’s complaint against Sami under Domestic Violence Act is pending, had allowed Saba to live jointly with Sami on flats at 13th and 14th floors.
But Saba challenged it first before a single judge of the High Court Justice R S Dalvi saying the family court should have restrained Sami from entering the flats because he was “alcoholic”.
Sami, on the other hand, offered to hand over possession of the flat on 12th floor and another flat at Versova to her.
