The High Court has asked the Telangana state to tell as to what protection the government was extending to the displaced people of the projects.
Taking up the hearing on a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed challenging the land acquisition through G.O.No.123, the High Court also asked the state government to reveal as to what sort of solution the government was showing to daily wage labourers instead of land owners. Responding on it, the Telangana state advocate general Ramakrishna Reddy told the Court that it will submit detailed report to the Court at the earliest. Then the Court directed the advocate general to submit the explanation through affidavit and adjourned the case to next Wednesday. (NSS)
