Ranchi, December 15: Jharkhand High Court today asked former Chief Minister Arjun Munda to file a reply in connection with a PIL charging him in a disproportionate assets case.
Hearing the petition by one Shankar Prasad Chourasia, the bench of Justice M Y Iqbal and Justice R R Prasad asked Munda to file a reply by January 18.
The court also asked the state government and the Income Tax department to file a counter in this regard.
In his petition, Chourasia had accused Munda of earning more than his known sources of income during his chief ministerial term and floating a construction company in his wife’s name.
