Hyderabad: Hyderabad High Court has declared the Managing Committee of Dargah Hazrat Barhana Shah, Santoshnagar as annulled and authorises Telangana Waqf Board to form new committee under Waqf Act.
Wahed Khan R/O Phisalbanda, Zafargarh on behalf of Waqf Board had challenged the validity of the committee. He had to say the some persons were included in the committee who allegedly faced some charges.
Earlier Court had issued stay order on the formation of the committee. Applicant had appealed in the court for dissolution of the committee. Justice SV Bhatt after hearing the arguments of both the parties and lawyer of Telangana Waqf Board has invalidated the committee and paved way for the formation of new committee.
