Hyderabad, September 05: The companions of the Prophet of Islam (SAWS) were enriched with the attributes of firm faith and confidence in Allah’s blessings. They were therefore, free from anxieties and disappointments. Achieving the target and success in their endeavors used to make their foreheads bend before Allah the Almighty. They used to tolerate any mounts of troubles with patience. Endowed with the company of the Prophet (SAWS) they were the embodiments of obedience , gratitude and patience. Among such obedient followers was Hazrath Sayeed Bin Amer (RA). He has left deep impressions of his good character.
These thoughts were expressed by Dr. Syed Mohammed Hameeduddin Sharfi during the course of his weekly lecturers delivered at Sharfi Chaman and Masjid Mala Kunta Moazzamjahi Market, Hyderabad on Sunday.
He narrated the life and character of Hazrath Younus (AS) in the first session of his lecture. In the second session, he delivered a lecture on the life and attributes of Hazrath Sayeed Bin Amer (RA). Dr. Syed Mohammed Haseebuddin in his English. Lecture series highlighted various aspects of the life of Hazrath Sayeed Bin Amer (RA). He said that he spent all his life in faith in Allah and patience. He died at the ago of 40. Prophet Mohammed (SAWS) said he will enter Heaven seventy years before other companions.
