New Delhi, December 24: Reacting to Anna Hazare’s comments that he is not satisfied with the government’s Lokpal Bill introduced in Parliament, senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh on Saturday said that most of the Gandhian’s demands have been incorporated in the government’s bill.
Hazare has dubbed the Lokpal Bill as weak as it does bring the CBI under the purview of the anti-graft ombudsman. Further, Team Anna’s demand of bringing Group C and D government workers under Lokpal has also not been met.
Singh said Hazare’s movement has lost track of its and was focused on targeting Congress only.
He also hit out at the BJP for criticizing the government on reservation for Muslims, saying the UPA was not playing politics.
