Dubai, January 24: Princess Haya bint Al Hussein, wife of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai visited the third Family Gathering Village in Al Khawaneej 1, Dubai.
The event is organised by the Princess Haya bint Al Hussein Islamic Cultural Centres and will run to February 26.
Princess Haya was received by Hamad Al Shebani, Director General, Dubai’s Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, Mona Balhasa, Director of the Princess Haya bint Al Hussein Islamic Cultural Centres and Jordan’s Chief Justice Ahmed Mohammed Halil amongst others.
Princess Haya toured the venue of the Village which hosts 93 shops for families, 16 for the youth, 19 commercially operated units, four for disabled individuals, as well as restaurants and entertainment parks. She expressed admiration at the quality of perfumes, accessories and traditional gifts.
Mona briefed Princess Haya on the weekly programme of the Village’s theatre. She hailed the support extended by Princess Haya to the event.
