The Commissioner Task Force,East Zone Team,has arrested four persons including three police constables of city police whose belongs to 2009 batch,and they were looty 50 lakhs of rupees net cash of”hawala”from two persons on just a week ago,but later police was tracked and arrested them on october 30th,One Thakur Kranthi singh has planned for looty this huge cash and with the help of these police mens he has success in his planned but later they were failed and nabbed by the task force,city police commissioner Anurag sharma said these words in a press conference..

Thakur Kranthi Singh earlier worked as collection boy for 12 years with Hari Om Concast & Steel Pvt. Ltd,Abid,where he was getting the collections for the steel firm both regular and those given through Hawala.Five months ago he left his job as his earnings are not sufficient to maintain his lavish expenditures.About three months back he came in contact with Police Constables Mahender and Puroshatham through, his friend Sachin also a Police Constable in City.He is aware of all the illegal money laundering centers in the twin cities as he was collecting the Hawala amounts of his firm on the direction of his employer for the past twelve years.constable Mahender earlier worked in DCP Central Zone special Team from March to September and in the month of August caught a Hawala amount case of rupees 30 lakhs with his information and handed over in P.S. Begumbazar.He suggested that they can form in to a team,pose as Task Force Police,divert the attention,threaten the person carrying Hawala amount and take away the amount from him and that the victim will not lodge any complainant as the money is illegally transported. On hearing this idea they all hatched a plan to make easy money and on october 21st,2013, Thakur Kranthi Singh has taken the other three Constables to Kishengunj where he is aware of Hawala transactions being done and waited for some time.He found all the known places being closed.He then took all the other persons to Ahuja Complex to Savitri Steel.He along with Sachin went to first floor while Mahinder and Purushottam were waiting down stairs and watched for some time. When he observed two persons coming out from Savitri steel office with a big black bag he guessed that they were carrying Hawala amount and informed Mahender waiting down stairs.Suresh and Kondal Rao who were carrying the money in the bag went down stairs and had dinner at Santosh Dhaba.Once they came out of the Dhaba Mahender and Purushottam followed their motorcycle closely while Thakur and Sachin followed them from a distance. While Suresh was passing the grave yard on Road No.12,banjara hills,Mahender over took their motorcycle and stopped them, snatched their motorcycle keys posing as Task Force Constables, took Suresh along with the cash bag on to their vehicle while Thakur and Sachin over took them and were waiting a little ahead. After going a little ahead Thakur came near their vehicle and took the bag containing the cash, and sat on the motorcycle of Sachin and sped away.After pushing away Suresh,Mahender and Purushottam also sped away towards Jubilee hills side.They all again assembled in Mahender’s house at ziyaguda and distributed the amount amongst themselves equally………..
Today on october 30, the Commissioner Task Force, East Zone Team,with the assistance of Banjara Hills police staff apprehended Kranthi Thakur at Hindi Nagar,Goshamahal,and as lead by him apprehended three constables and recovered an amount of rupees 48 lakhs,Two Motorcycles,One Mobile Phone of Complainant Suresh from their possession,commissioner anurag sharma further aidded(SNB)…………..
