New Delhi, Augsut 11: Television channels have reported that the Union Law Ministry has written to the Supreme Court enquring whether judges can blog on social networking sites.
A spokesman of the Supreme Court denied receipt of such a letter. Law Ministry officials on condition of anonymity also denied writing any such letter to the Supreme Court.
Justice D V Shylendra Kumar of the Karntaka High Court has been frequently blogging on his own blog ‘justdvskumar’ since August last year and posted details of the assets owned by him and his wife Veena Kumar.
