Chandigarh, March 13: The Haryana Government will spend Rs 1,900.31 crore in the next financial year to boost water supply and provide better sewerage facilities in towns, an official spokesman said today.
The total amount will include Rs 1,031.22 crore on plan side and Rs 869.09 crore on non-plan side, he said.
The government has planned to improve water supply in 78 urban centres and will spend Rs 120 crore on improving of sewerage facilities during 2011-12, he said, adding that National Capital Region Planning Board had also set apart Rs 110 crore for implementation of various works.
