Haryana police arrests 10 criminals

Chandigarh, July 11: Haryana Police has succeeded in arresting ten criminals allegedly involved in different cases of loot, dacoity and theft at Gurgaon.

A police spokesman said here today that on May 19 this year some criminals looted a Swift Desire car from a driver at Sushak Lok of Gurgaon.

Two of the criminals were arrested on the same day by barricading the entire area. Third one who managed to escape on that day was later arrested on July 9.

He said that in yet another case, the Police got the information that some of the criminals were planning a big robbery at Sector 34 of Gurgaon.

The police raided the area and arrested three of them Raju, Praveen and Dharmendra. A local .315 bore gun and two live cartridges were recovered from them.

He said that Police had also arrested Suresh Kumar involved in a theft case in a house at Housing Board Colony, Jhadsa Road, Gurgaon in the month of February last who confessed the crime.

Police had also arrested three criminals — Sonu Sharma, Sanjay and Nihar Ranjan involved in stealing five Motor Cycles and some documents from Krishna Auto Motor Cycle Agency at Gurgaon. A sum of Rs one lakh had been recovered from them.

He said that cases had been registered against all the criminals and they were being interrogated. Further investigations were also being carried out.
