Chandigarh, August 09:Girls upto 18 years who have skilled in education, sports and other fields and those at national and international levels will be honoured by Haryana government.
They would be felicitated for their achievement in education, sports, social service, science and technology, literature, art and culture, besides bringing laurels to the state at national and international levels, a spokesman of Haryana Women and Child Development department said here
today.
Girls upto 18 years for their achievements in 2008-09 and upto July 31, 2009 would be eligible for the honour, he said, adding applications could be sent to the Director, Woman and Child Development, Haryana, Chandigarh through the concerned Deputy Commissioner with his recommendation before
August 31, 2009.
They would be felicitated on ‘Balika Divas’ on December 22,2009, he added. PTI
