Kurukshetra (Har): AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal today alleged that the BJP government in Haryana is adopting “anti-farmers and anti-Jawan” policies and asked it to provide proper compensation to the agrarian society for crop loss.
Addressing AAP workers over phone on the second day of three-day state-level convention of the party here, Kejriwal asked if his Delhi government can give compensation of Rs one crore to “martyred jawan” and Rs 20,000 per acre to farmers for crop loss, then why Haryana government cannot do the same.
Delhi’s Social Welfare Minister minister Sandeep Kumar accused the state government of being “anti-women and anti-Dalit”, and alleged that the “atrocities” committed against them in Haryana have not decreased in the last few years.
“Haryana would progress only if the politics of caste and religion being spread by the BJP government is routed from the state,” he claimed.
Kumar, who also holds Women and Child Welfare portfolio in Delhi government, called upon the party workers to unitedly fight against the “anti-women and anti-Dalit attitude” of Haryana government.
AAP national spokesperson Ashutosh said the workers need to strengthen the party at ‘booth level’ by enrolling new members from Haryana and give an alternative to BJP and Congress.
