Haryana CM launches Swacch campaign

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday launched ‘Swachh Haryana-Swachh Bharat’ campaign as he swept roads and urged people to make cleanliness a part of themselves.

“We have urged the people that everyone should start the cleanliness of their own body, of their home, of their family, of their surroundings, workplace and of the colony that they live in. Everybody should make this drive a part of themselves,” said Khattar.

He further said that he would ensure the involvement of youth in full force towards this drive.

The Chief Minister along with his party members and the people present on this occasion took a pledge of making ‘Clean India’ mission a part of their daily lives.

Prime Minister Modi had said in a statement that a clean India is the best tribute one can pay to Mahatma Gandhi when his 150th birth anniversary is celebrated in 2019.
