Congress MP Harsha Kumar on Sunday accused the Congress-led UPA Government of conspiring with the opposition parties to stop the No Trust Motion moved by six MPs in protest against proposed bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
Participating in the Meet The Press programme organised by the AP Journalist Forum here, Harsha Kumar said that he supported Telangana in 2004. However, he said that the support was conditional and he wanted the Centre to first resolve the issues like status of Hyderabad, distribution of water and other resources. However, the Congress High Command took a hasty decision while doing injustice to Seemandhra region.
Harsha Kumar said that the Congress MPs from Seemandhra region revolted against the party for the people of Seemandhra region. However, he said that the ruling party conspired with the opposition to stall the No Confidence Motion. (INN)
