Haritha Haram programme was organised in all police stations across Telangana State by planting saplings.
All Police stations in Telangana State will be modernised by planting more number of trees and 10 lakh saplings are proposes to be planted in the coming next four years in all police station premises, said Anjani Kumar, incharge Director General of Police.
Speaking on occasion of Haritha Haram programme held in the DGP Office, Anjani Kumar said tthe Greenery and Plantation work was already in progress in the Police stations for the last two years as part of the Police station modernisation works. All Police stations are modernising growing more number of trees in their premises. On occasion, Anjani Kumar along with senior IPS officers Satyanarain, Gopi Krishna, Sandeep Shandilya, Sanjay Kumar Jain, Bala Naga Devi, Kalpana Naik planted saplings on the DGP office premises.
Intelligence Security Wing Organised Haritha Haram Programme at Integrated Intelligence Training Academy, Moinabad on Friday. IGP Shivadhar Reddy along with senior Police Officers Sajjanar, Rajesh Kumar planted saplings on IIT campus and 85% plants grown which were planted last year in IIT premises is showing much greenery, said the IGP.
Haritha Haram program was held at Cyberabad Police Commissionerate with volunteers from Tech Mahendra (45), Tata Institute of Social Sciences (20), Vanguards (20), Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology (8) and police officials. (NSS)
